Meizu about to re-enter global market, to show off new flagship smartphone at MWC 2025
Meizu will be attending the largest industry event - the MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, where it will unveil a handful of new products for the global market, including a brand-new flagship smartphone.
The flagship phone will be accompanied by two other smartphones, AIoT devices and AI software advancements, which will likely be incorporated into Meizu's smartphones. Moreover, the Chinese hardware manufacturer promises to show off its new AI smart glasses, smart rings, and more.
This is an exciting turn of events given that Meizu announced its exit from the smartphone business about a year ago and that it's focusing on AI technologies. However, after partnering with Polestar, the firm released a couple of other phones which remained almost exclusive to the Chinese market. So this year's participation in MWC suggests Meizu isn't done with the smartphone business just yet.
