LiMo powered Vodafone 360 H1 and 360 M1 handsets revealed
Vodafone have just officially announced the world"s first LiMo-running handsets - the Vodafone 360 H1 and Vodafone 360 M1. Coming to promote the new Vodafone 360 set of services, the two touchscreen handsets sound really exciting in terms of both hardware and software.
Vodafone 360 H1
Vodafone 360 H1 is like a dream come true for the multimedia addicts. It measures 115.9 x 58 x 12.9 mm, weighs 134 g and has a huge 3.5-inch 16M-color AMOLED touchscreen. Its highlight features include a 5-megapixel autofocus snapper, GPS receiver and plenty of internal memory (16GB). The phone also sports HSDPA, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support.
It seems that most of the rumors about the 360 H1 turned out true.
Update: Two hands-on previews of the newly announced Vodafone 360 H1 popped up. Here is bunch of live photos of the attractive touchscreen and a short video demonstrating it UI.

Vodafone 360 M1
The next Vodafone 360 mobile phone is the 360 M1 which is expected to be more affordable than it"s bigger bro since it packs a smaller touchscreen (measuring 3.2 inches) using the more common TFT technology. While the size isn"t that different (111 x 55 x 13.3 mm), 360 M1"s weight is considerably lower (111 g). Like the 360 H1, 360 M1 also has an built-in GPS receiver and support for HSDPA and Bluetooth. However, there is no Wi-Fi support this time, the camera resolution is reduced to 3 megapixels and autofocus has been dropped.
As we said before, both handsets will be produced by Samsung (we would have guessed that even without the logo on the top - they are like twin brothers of the Samsung S8300 UltraTOUCH) and will run LiMo OS (Linux Mobile OS). They will offer a 3D user interface (which you can try yourselves thanks to this interactive demo) and access to the Vodafone 360 services. The latter will combine social network services with an app and multimedia store. Here is a quick video demonstrating what Vodafone 360 is all about.
Vodafone 360 H1 will be available in black or silver while the Vodafone 360 M1 is expected to be sold in three colors - black, white and red. Both should hit the shelves on time for Christmas. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing just yet.
