Leaked images show off case designs for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 will be unveiled next week, but there is still a steady stream of leaks. The latest shows cases for the upcoming foldables. The designs of the two phones have been tweaked, but the broad strokes are the same, so it should come as no surprise that the cases donât look too different either.
This case for the Galaxy Z Flip4 shows that now familiar âSilicon Cover With Strapâ design. The idea of the strap is to serve as a convenient handle for a secure grip when needed and to keep out of the way when not.
For this generation the Galaxy Z Fold4 is also getting a strap design, though slightly different â it lacks the metal buckle. In both cases the length of the strap is adjustable to better fit your hand.
Here are a couple of more designs that leaked a few days ago. The Z Fold4 will have a âSlim Standing Coverâ, which will retail for â¬44 or so. The back has a slim kickstand that can hold the phone an an angle. This case does not have a slot for an S Pen, but others might (the Z Fold4 itself has nowhere to stash the stylus).
As for the Z Flip 4, there will be more premium Flap Leather Cover designs (â¬73) and a more basic Clear Cover with Ring (â¬29) option.
The Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on August 10 (Wednesday next week), but you can already reserve a phone in the US and in India. The event will also bring the new Galaxy Watch5 series and new Galaxy Buds Pro.
