KT's special Galaxy Z Fold4 bundle celebrates the Korean national football team

Carrier KT has unveiled a special edition Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 that celebrates the South Korean national football team – KT has been an official sponsor of the team since 2001 and will continue to support it as it prepares for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

This special edition is whole bundle that comes in a suitcase that just might be large enough to take to Qatar. Besides the phone, there is also a Galaxy Watch5 Pro (Bluetooth), a special protective case for the fold and bespoke straps for the watch. The suitcase, phone case and watch strap have all been designed in collaboration with the Korean Football Association (and are in the signature red color).

There is some software customization too with custom a theme for the phone and a KFA watch face. A KFA sticker pack is included as well, which you can slap on the suitcase, for example.

Fans will also receive a T-shirt signed by one of the players on the team, plus two first class tickets to see the friendly match against Cameroon on September 27. Note that there are only 50 bundles and time is of the essence. You can sign up to get one today and tomorrow. Then on Wednesday 50 winners will be randomly selected. They will have until Thursday 15:00 to buy the bundle.

Yep, these bundles aren’t free, they are valued at KRW 2,750,000, but there are several discounts that can apply. This is around how much you would pay for a Z Fold4 (note: the phone has 512GB storage) and a Galaxy Watch5 Pro, but given the limited nature of this special edition, you shouldn’t have much issue getting your money back if you decide to sell it.

By the way, all this talk of a special edition Galaxy Z Fold4 reminded us – there is no Thom Browne edition this year. This year the company introduced several other special editions, e.g. the Pockemon Galaxy Z Flip3 or the Ultra Mark & Lona and Mercedes S22 Ultra editions, but nothing from long time collaborator Thom Browne.
