Itel introduces the Smartwatch 2 and 1GS for the Indian market
Itel just added two new smartwatches to its lineup. They have very different designs, but both run on a proprietary platform and feature low pricing.
The Smartwatch 1GS has a classic circular design with an aluminum frame, a 1.32-inch 360 x 360px LCD and the standard set of sensors including SpO2 and heart rate monitor. The watch is powered by a 250mAh battery, which the manufacturer claims can last for five hours straight of Bluetooth calls. Yes, that means the device has a tiny loudspeaker and a microphone so you can take your calls from your wrist.
The Smartwatch 2, on the other hand, has a bigger 1.8" rectangular IPS panel with a slightly lower 240 x 296px resolution. It has a smaller 230 mAh battery. However, it has 128MB of internal storage, where you can add your favorite tracks and listen to them independently from your phone as it supports Bluetooth audio streaming. And aside from a couple of additional software features, the Smartwatch 2 is pretty much the same as the Smartwatch 1GS.
Both devices are IP68-compliant so they can withstand water and dust.
The 1GS is priced at INR 2,999 while the Smartwatch 2 is slightly more affordable at INR 2,499. Both devices can be purchased from the company's official website.
