Insta360 Flow 2 Pro arrives with Multi-Person Tracking and Pro Framing Grid

Camera company Insta360 has announced its new smartphone stabilizer called Insta360 Flow 2 Pro. The gimbal is advertised as the "next-gen AI-powered smartphone stabilizer" that works with Android and iOS but comes with seamless iPhone integration.

For starters, the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro uses Apple DockKit, allowing native subject tracking in the iPhone's built-in Camera app and over 200 third-party iOS apps, including Blackmagic.

The Flow 2 Pro also uses Deep Track 4.0 AI-powered tracking technology, enabling fast-moving subjects' tracking at up to 15x zoom with Active Zoom Tracking, while the Pro Framing Grid helps you frame the shots using a golden ratio composition. Additionally, the Flow 2 Pro supports real-time multi-person tracking.

Other highlights of the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro include 360° Infinite Pan Tracking, a selfie mirror, a Teleprompter Mode, and support for Dolby Vision and Apple ProRes. The stabilizer can also be controlled remotely with an Apple Watch or a second smartphone.

The Insta360 Flow 2 Pro's built-in selfie stick and tripod are stronger than the Flow Pro, while the handle is now longer and has an ergonomic grip. The Flow 2 Pro weighs 357g and packs a 1,100 mAh battery, advertised with a 10-hour run time and two-hour charging time. It can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices.

Insta360 made a nice video talking about the Flow 2 Pro's features. You can watch it below.
