HMD Global, the company that is in charge of manufacturing Nokia phones, announced it secured the top spot in the feature phone market for Q3 2023, according to the latest analysis by IDC. The detailed breakdown wasn"t shared by either the maker or the analyst company, but HMD holds a 30.7% market share by value and 22.4% by volume, marking an increase from the previous three-month period.
HMD said four key factors contributed to Nokia’s success. The first is feature phones with UPI (Unified Payments Interface) integration, which enhanced functionality and enabled secure digital transactions.
