Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pocket now on sale in global markets
The global rollout of the Huawei P50 series began in late January. The manufacturer opened pre-orders for the Huawei P50 Pro and Huawei P50 Pocket devices across Asia Pacific, The Middle East & Africa, Europe, and South America.
Two weeks after the announcement the devices are finally up for sale, right in time for Valentineâs Day. Each market has its own deals, but they all include bundles with free wearables, FreeBuds, warranties and subscriptions.
The Huawei P50 Pocket is the companyâs first foldable clamshell that has no visible gap when closed. There is an external circular screen with a 1â diagonal to preview notifications, and it also acts as a preview screen for selfies with the main camera.
The P50 Pro is the flagship smartphone of the company. While Huawei lost some ground on the global market, it still produces impressive devices. The P series are Photography-oriented (hence the letter P), and this phone raised the bar once again. While the cameras are among the best ones, the P50 Pro also has a lovely screen, battery performance and overall looks.
The Huawei P50 Pocket comes in two variants - 12/512 GB memory and a gold design, which costs â¬1,599. There is also a White option that still looks good in its own way, and costs just â¬1,299, but has only 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
Quick glance reveals Huawei France will bundle FreeBuds Pro as a gift, as well as a three-month subscription for Adidas Runtastic. The German division is throwing in FreeBuds Lipstick, but also offers discounts for the Scale 3 Pro, Sound Joy speakers or the Watch GT 3 wearable.
The Huawei P50 Pro comes with 8/256 GB in either Gold or Black color, and costs â¬1,199. It supports 50W wireless fast charging, and Huawei will sell the appropriate stand charger for just â¬50, instead of the original price of â¬130.
