Patent reveals Huawei foldable smartphone with six cameras and a stylus, could be the Mate X2
Huawei announced the Mate X foldable smartphone last year in February and later in September, it filed a patent with USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for a new foldable smartphone with stylus support.
Now, we are looking at another patent filed by the Chinese phone maker with EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office), and it reveals yet another foldable smartphone which could be the Mate X2.
The patent describes a form factor similar to the first-gen Mate X, but there are some differences.
For starters, the new phone folds inwards while the Mate X folds outwards. Besides, the Mate X came with four cameras, but this one will have a total of six cameras - two on the front housed on the vertical sidebar, and four at the back.
The sidebar sports the secondary display and houses the stylus, which looks different from the one we saw last September. You can check out the sketches below to get a better idea.
