HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket with LTE to hit AT&T
AT&T announced today the HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket, both with LTE enabled to mark the newly-founded LTE network of the carrier.

The Galaxy S II Skyrocket is like the Galaxy S II but with a bigger, 4.5-inch SuperAMOLED Plus screen, and a speedier 1.5GHz dual-core processor and a 1GB of RAM.
And at the back an 8-megapixel camera will take care of the photos, which will be saved on the 16GB built-in storage, expandable with up to 32GB microSD card.

HTC Vivid
Onto the HTC Vivid, the second proud LTE smartphone in AT&T"s line-up running Gingerbread 2.3.5 as well. Although, it has the same 4.5-inch display as the Skyrocket, the Vivid boasts a qHD resolution of 540x960. Other key specs include a 1.2GHz processor, 8MP rear camera and 16GB on-board storage with microSD card support.
Pricing and availability
As you may remember, AT&T launched its LTE network in September for five cities - Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. Now though, with the launch of the Vivid and the Skyrocket, the LTE availability will be expanded to Boston, Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Athens, GA.
The Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid will hit AT&T stores on November 6, with prices of $249.99 and $199, respectively. Both devices will be offered with two data plans for you to choose from. For $15 a month you can get 200MB of data or if that"s not enough, you can also get 2GB of $25 a month.
