HTC U23 is now on sale
The HTC U23, unveiled last week, is now available for purchase in Taiwan through HTC's official Taiwanese website. It comes in two colors and a single 8GB/128GB memory configuration priced at TWD14,990 ($480/â¬435/INR39,160).
The HTC U23 is built around a 6.7" FullHD+ 120Hz OLED screen with a centered punch hole for the 32MP selfie camera. And around the back, it sports a triple camera system comprising 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth units.
The HTC U23 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, runs Android 13 out of the box, and has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It's fueled by a 4,600 mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging support. The smartphone also supports reverse wireless charging.
The rest of the HTC U23's highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity, NFC, and an IP67 rating. The smartphone also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
If all this sounds familiar, it's because the HTC U23 is basically the U23 Pro with less storage, a lower-res primary camera (64MP vs. 108MP), and no macro unit. The HTC U23 Pro was unveiled in May and has two memory options - 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. You can check the detailed specs comparison of the HTC U23 and U23 Pro here.
