HTC teases a new phone launching on June 12, could be the U24 Pro
HTC is launching a new phone on June 12 at 8AM local time in Taiwan. The teaser the company posted onto its Facebook account gives us an image of its side, and no other details whatsoever.
That said, back in April the still-unannounced HTC U24 Pro was spotted in the Google Play Console, so that might be the device HTC is making official next week.
The U24 Pro's listing revealed it's coming with 1080x2436 resolution for its screen, and it will run Android 14 from day one. It's powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM. It will also support Bluetooth 5.3.
The U23 Pro got official in May of last year, so it's definitely high time for it to get a successor. HTC's been keeping this line alive despite not really launching a lot of other devices recently. The U series handsets aren't widely available across the world, but in select markets only.
