HTC Rider specs found inside its leaked ROM, is just like EVO 3D
HTC Rider leaked in a blurry low-res picture a few days ago and it's supposed to be the international version of the EVO 3D. Its recently leaked ROM just confirms the rumor revealing similar to EVO 3D specifications.
It isn't a surprise HTC is preparing an international version of the CDMA EVO 3D. As we reported back the leaked on a blurry grainy low-res photo HTC Rider should be exactly that - an EVO 3D for all.
The Rider's ROM has already leaked and available for download. It revealed the same specs as the EVO 3D - a dual-core 1.2GHz Scorpion processor, 1GB RAM, Adreno 220 GPU, a 4.3-inch qHD 3D-capable display, an 8 megapixel 3D-capable camera with 1080p video recording, a video-call camera and lots of connectivity goodies - Wi-Fi, WiMax, Bluetooth 3.0, etc.
The leaked ROM is a carrier specific though - Korea Telecom. It is for a Rider based on the Snapdragon MSM8660 chipset - virtually the same as the EVO 3D - meaning CDMA and GSM capable.
So a Korean device does not explicitly means an international one, but it's good to know the EVO 3D has already escaped the US chains. We bet we are going to see and international HTC Rider (or whatever it will be called) announcement soon.
