Honor Magic7 Pro showed off at the Snapdragon Summit stage

Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite, its next flagship chipset, and brought its partners up on stage to showcase upcoming phones with the new chip. Xiaomi apparently has dibs, Realme is also working on a device, as is Asus (for the ROG series) and Honor.

The company has been teasing the Honor Magic7 Pro, showing off its design in a short video and talking about NPU game rendering and a new AI assistant that will be part of MagicOS 9.0. And, of course, the company took the opportunity to show off the phone on stage in Hawaii (where the Snapdragon Summit is held each year), as you can see above.

The Honor Magic7 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Its beefy NPU will power the on-device AI assistant (named YOYO), help improve gaming performance and more.

Honor will unveil MagicOS 9.0 tomorrow (Wednesday) and the Magic7 series next week (also on Wednesday, October 30).
