Honor launches Magicbook X16 Plus and X14 Plus with new Intel Core i5
Honor announced the 300 series smartphones yesterday, and it also unveiled two new Magicbook laptops â X16 Plus and X14 Plus, both running the 13th gen Intel Core i5-220H. They also share the same memory options â 16 GB or 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.
The Magicbook X16 Plus 2025, as is its full name, shares features a 16" screen, an 1.79 kg body with under 18 mm profile. Here, the screen supports up to 120 Hz refresh rate, has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and up to 430 nits brightness.
The 75 Wh battery supports 65W fast charging. It has two USB-C, two USB-A ports (Gen1 & Gen 2), one HDMI and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The keyboard is backlit, comes with a numpad, and has a 5-finger touchpad underneath.
The Magicbook X14 Plus 2025 comes with a 16 mm profile and a 1.34 kg body. It brings a 14" display with a greater 2,880 x 1,800 resolution. Since the device is smaller than the X16, the battery is 60 Wh but keeps the 65W fast charging. It has the same amount of ports and the same trackpad, but the keyboard has no numpad, again, due to size.
Both laptops come with Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi 5 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1, and they even have NFC.
Honor is selling both laptops in Starry Gray or Light Sea Blue colors. The X14 Plus costs CNY4,899 or CNY5,199, while the X16 Plus is CNY5,099 or CNY5,399. They are up for pre-order in China, with shipments scheduled for December 12.
