Honor is the latest smartphone manufacturer to enter the Indonesian market
After Apple committed to investing $1 billion in Indonesia to retain its presence in the market, Honor is now looking to enter the lucrative market as well. With the country being one of the fastest-growing in Asia, companies are flocking to take a larger piece of the pie.
Throughout 2025, Honor will open more than 10 Honor experience stores across the country and offer about 30 of its products, including smartphones, PCs and smart wearables. The company has started working with local retailers and e-commerce platforms and will start shipping its first products in Q1 2025.
According to Honor, the company is the fastest-growing brand in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, particularly in the mid-premium segment, so the President of Honor"s South Pacific arm hopes that the manufacturer can achieve the same in Indonesia.
