Honor 50 Lite coming to Europe, looks just like Huawei’s nova 8i
Back in June, we saw the debut of the Honor 50 series phones in China. These consist of the Honor 50 Pro, Honor 50 and Honor 50 SE with the vanilla model expected to launch in Europe on October 26 with Google Mobile Services in tow. Now WinFuture is reporting of a Honor 50 Lite phone which is also expected to debut on the Old Continent by the end of the month.

Looks alone tell you this is a rebadged Huawei nova 8i and the leaked spec sheet of the “new” device confirms it. This also raises the question of just how independent Honor is from Huawei given the identical build and specs of the two devices.
Honor 50 Lite will carry a 6.67-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and pill-shaped cutout for its 16MP selfie cam. The back brings a circular camera ring with a 64MP main shooter next to an 8MP ultrawide snapper and two 2MP modules for macro photography and depth data.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 SoC sits at the helm aided by 6GB RAM and 128GB storage The phone is expected to boot Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0 on top with Google Mobile Service also present.
Honor 50 Lire is said to cost around €300 (€50 less than the nova 8i) when it launches later this month. It will be available in black and blue colors.
