Here's Samsung's One UI 4 with Android 12 update roadmap for India
Yesterday Samsung shocked us with the quickest One UI release ever to follow a new big Android upgrade, when it announced that One UI 4 based on Android 12 is starting to roll out globally. The update has already been spotted in the US and Europe, but what about India?
It turns out things are a little bit different over there, with the rollout only expected to commence in December. Samsung has revealed the following update schedule, seen in the image below, through its Members app in India. As such, these rollout time frames are only valid for India, keep that in mind.
Because Samsung is such a huge company which makes so many phones and sells them practically across the world, not all places and not all phones in all places will get the update at the same time. From the looks of it, India has to wait a bit more than other countries for the update to show itself, but it will make a big showing next month, with the Galaxy S21 family and the Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 all receiving it.
Then in January it"s time for the Galaxy Fold, Z Fold2, Z Flip, and the Galaxy S20, Note20, S10, and Note10 families to receive the new software. The mid-rangers and the tablets will get their first taste in February, as you can see. Obviously all of this is still subject to change, but it should give you a decent idea of when to expect the new software to hit your device.
