Gurman: Apple to launch new iPhone SE in 2025 with no home button
Apple is working on a new iPhone SE and will launch the affordable device in early 2025. The information comes from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who added that two new iPad Air models are also coming with an updated version of the Magic Keyboard.
The fourth iPhone SE will be based on the iPhone 14. This means Apple will ditch the home button and add Face ID. The phone should have one of the company's more recent chipsets, which means it might also get Apple Intelligence.
Plans for 2025 also include revamped Mac minis, updated MacBook Pros and iMacs with an M4 chip. The platform will also reach new MacBook Airs, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro devices. However, the journalist added that we might not see a new iPad Pro in 2025 since the current version is already "a generation ahead."
