Google Pixel Watch 3 specs leak again
Today's Google Pixel leak is about the Pixel Watch 3, and we get a new rumor talking about its specs, following up one from about a month ago. If you were expecting huge improvements compared to the Pixel Watch 2, guess who's in for a disappointment?
It looks like the Pixel Watch 3 will have the same Snapdragon Wear 5100 and Cortex M33 co-processor as last year's model, along with the same 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage.
The battery capacity is once again confirmed to get a bump on the 41mm model, but it's the world's smallest bump: 1 mAh. Seriously, it went from 306 mAh to 307 mAh. That's not a difference anyone is going to feel in real life, at all, ever.
The 45mm Pixel Watch 3, on the other hand, will have a 420 mAh battery. The Pixel Watch 3 will have a 60 Hz display refresh rate, which, believe it or not, is double that of its predecessor. It's also not fixed, so it can go as low as 1 Hz and as high as 60 Hz when needed.
Brightness-wise, 2,000 nits will be the maximum and 1 nit will be the minimum, for both sizes. This is it for today - or at least for now. Another Pixel leak could very well pop up at any time.
