Google Pixel 7a leaks in series of new live images

Following up on the leaked Pixel 7a live images shared over the weekend comes a new batch of images of the budget Pixel phone. We can see the Pixel 7a looks quite similar to the vanilla Pixel 7 with a punch hole display, slightly curved glass back and camera visor. The bezels on the phone are substantial and appear thicker than on the Pixel 7 propper.

The device from the new images bears the GHL1X model number and we get confirmation it packs 8GB LPDDR5 RAM manufactured by Samsung and 128GB storage module (presumably UFS 3.1) from SK Hynix/Micron. The new images also show out the USB-C port on the bottom and a single SIM slot.

The rest of the specs include a 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Google’s in-house Tensor G2 chipset, a 64MP (IMX787) main cam and 12MP ultrawide module. The device is also expected to bring 5W wireless charging – a first in the Pixel a-series. Google Pixel 7a is expected to launch at the Google I/O 2023 conference in May.
