Global Oppo Reno12, Reno12 Pro specs leak reveals chipset and camera downgrades
Oppo is preparing to launch Reno12 and Reno12 Pro internationally, but once again these phones will be different from their namesakes in China.
According to one user on X, both devices will have a less impressive chipset, Dimensity 7300 and will also see a downgrade in the camera department. On top of that, Oppo might ship the phones with no charger in the box.
Oppo will stick to the same design as the Chinese variants, with three vertically placed cameras on a rectangular island. However, the front of the Reno12 will have curved sides, unlike the Chinese versions and the global Reno12 Pro, where the screen is curved on all four sides.
The international Reno 12 pair will be built around 6.7” AMOLED panels of 1080p resolution with Gorilla Glass on top – 7i for Reno12, and Victus 2 for Reno12 Pro. There will be an optical fingerprint scanner under the display.
Oppo Reno12 is coming with a 50 MP main + 8 MP ultra-wide + 2 MP macro cameras. There is also a 32 MP selfie shooter. The Reno12 Pro will feature 50 MP main and telephoto shooters and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera; the front-facing cam will have another 50 MP sensor.

The 5,000 mAh batteries will support 80W SuperVOOC, which means 100% charge in 46 minutes. Oppo will also provide "48-month fluency protection" for its users in India, suggesting it will support the phones for 4 years with software updates.
