Galaxy Z Flip6, along with Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra get certified by the NBTC

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 and three upcoming watches have been certified by the Thai regulator NBTC. The former features 5G connectivity and carries a model number SM-F741B.

As for the watches, the certification was for the LTE-enabled models. The first is the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 (SM-L305F), this is the 40mm version. Then there’s the 44mm version of the same watch (SM-L315F).

Finally, the new series – Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (SM-L705F). Yes, the name is just “Watch Ultra”, no “7”. This is similar to the new Galaxy Watch FE, which also lacks a number. Will the next model be called “Watch2 Ultra” or “Watch Ultra 2”? That’s a worry for next year.

NBTC certifications: Galaxy Z Flip6 • Galaxy Watch7 40mm and 44mm • Galaxy Watch Ultra

Notice that the watch model numbers use an “L” now, previously they used “R”. For example, the 40mm Galaxy Watch6 is SM-R940. This is curious, but it doesn’t mean much in practice.

Anyway, the NBTC listing for the Z Flip6 confirms 25W charging, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC (no UWB). Unofficial info suggests that the new clamshell foldable will be pricier than the outgoing model. For more details on the Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra, check out this article.
