Extensive leak shows off Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra images, specs
A few weeks ago official images of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra leaked, offering a glimpse at the design â and revealing just how little will change. Now the same source has many more images of the two slates, plus specs.
First things first, the S10 generation will only come in two sizes â 12.4â and 14.6â, the 11â model has been cut. Both displays are listed as âDynamic AMOLED 2X Anti-Reflectionâ displays. That last part is new â could it be the same tech as whatâs on the Galaxy S24 Ultra?
You can find the dimensions for both slates below. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has two 12MP front-facing cameras (one with a wide and one with an ultra wide lens), which means that it is keeping the notch. The Tab S10+ has a single 12MP camera and no notch. On the back, the two tablets have the same dual cameras with a 13MP main and 8MP ultra wide modules.
Tab S9+ | Tab S10+ | Tab S9 Ultra | Tab S10 Ultra | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Width | 285.4mm | 285.4mm | 326.4mm | 326.4mm |
Height | 185.4mm | 185.4mm | 208.6mm | 208.6mm |
Thickness | 5.7mm | 5.6mm | 5.5mm | 5.4mm |
Weight (Wi-Fi/5G) | 581g/586g | 571g/576g | 732g/737g | 718g/723g |
As youâve probably heard, both tablets will use the Dimensity 9300+ chipset. However, the Tab S10+ will have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB storage, while the pricier Tab S10 Ultra will go up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB storage (these are the same capacities as the S9-series slates). The tablets will have microSD slots for expandable storage.
Both will be available in Wi-Fi and 5G versions, which will have slightly different weights as you can see in the table above. Interestingly, the Ultra will have Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, while the Plus will only get Wi-Fi 6E (despite using the same chipset). Both will support Bluetooth 5.3.
Samsung managed to shave off 0.1mm from the thickness of the two tablets, but the battery capacities are the same as last year: 10,090mAh for the Tab S10+ and 11,200mAh for the Tab S10 Ultra. The charging system remains unchanged at 45W.
What will change, allegedly, anyway, is the price â Samsung is expected to charge more for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra. The Tab S10 series is expected sometime next month.
