Early leak details Galaxy S27 series' chipset
While we are waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, we are getting Galaxy S26 leaks and now Galaxy S27 leaks as well. According to a Korean news outlet, Samsung has reportedly started the development of its Exynos 2700 chipset that will power them.
The chipset is codenamed Ulysses and will be based on Samsung's upcoming, second-generation 2nm manufacturing process, or SF2P.
The updated manufacturing node promises to bring 12% gains in performance, reduce power consumption by 25% and reduce the die size by 8%, compared to the older generation, which in turn hasn't come out yet.
Mass production is planned to start in 2026, just in time for the Galaxy S27 release in 2027.
