Doogee V40 Pro rugged smartphone with 200MP camera and Doogee AI is coming soon
The Doogee V30 Pro launched last November will get a successor soon. It will be called the Doogee V40 Pro, and we've received its images and specs exclusively, so let's see what's on offer.
Our source tells us that the Doogee V40 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 7300 SoC, boot Android 14, and have 16GB RAM and 512GB storage onboard. It will pack a 6.78" FullHD+ 120Hz IPS display with a punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera.
Around the back, it will sport a quad camera system comprising 200MP primary, 20MP night vision, 8MP ultrawide, and 8MP telephoto (3x optical, 30x digital) units. The V40 Pro will also feature a "multi-function" screen on the rear, and the image we received shows it displaying time, date, and battery status. It's unclear if it will show notifications.
Another highlight of the Doogee V40 Pro is Doogee AI, which is a "cutting-edge technology" that "incorporates a variety of advanced features tailored to meet the diverse needs of modern users."
The Doogee AI will come with AI Call Recording and AI Text Assistant. AI Call Recording can convert call recordings into text while offering seamless translation into the target language and generate call summaries. The AI Text Assistant, on the other hand, lets users rewrite text and adapt writing styles to suit different contexts.
The rest of the Doogee V40 Pro's highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC with Google Pay support, IP68 rating, and MIL-STD-810H certification.
The Doogee V40 Pro will be available in blue and silver colors, and it will be fueled by an 8,680 mAh battery with 33W charging support.
