Doogee V30 Pro is a 200 MP rugged smartphone that you shouldn't buy yet
Doogee announced its latest product called V30 Pro – a rugged smartphone with a 200 MP triple camera and a 10,800 mAh battery. The device also has 5G connectivity, but it is not on sale yet - it will arrive on November 11, also known as Singles" Day (11.11).
The chipset inside this V30 Pro device is a Mediatek 7050, and Doogee claims there is 32 GB RAM. In reality, there are just 12 GB, the other 20 GB being expandable, meaning borrowed from storage for a short term. Speaking of storage, there is 512 GB, and the phone also has a micro SD slot for up to 2TB more.
The screen of the rugged Doogee phone is a 6.58” LCD with a waterdrop notch for the 32 MP selfie camera and support for up to 120 Hz refresh rate. The company did not say what protection it provided for the front panel; however, there is a pre-applied screen protector.
The trio of cameras on the back is the most intriguing part of the smartphone. The main camera is indeed 200 MP, the second is a 24 MP Night Vision sensor, while the third has a 16 MP sensor and is for ultrawide shots, as well as macro images.
The battery capacity might be massive, but it comes with just 33W fast charging, which still may take time to fill up the whole cell. Other specs include a dual hybrid SIM slot, a USB-C port on the bottom, and Android 13. Doogee did not reveal the weight of this behemoth, but we would be surprised if it were below 500 grams.
The Doogee V30 Pro comes in Black color with red accents around the camera. The price is $300.99, but there are two coupons, $16 and $20, that can be applied at AliExpress, setting the final price at $264.99.
