DJI's marvelous Ronin 4D-8K does 8K at 75fps in Apple ProRes RAW and is shipping
DJI's unique 4-axis stabilized full-frame 8K-ready Ronin 4D-8K is now shipping alongside the 6K Ronin 4D-6K.
A unique modular setup with a sensor and mount bolted onto a 4-axis gimbal that's itself attached to a cinema camera housing with all the bells and whistles - an external monitor, wireless transmitter, storage unit, etc.
The 8K sensor is a 35mm full-frame imager with 14.7 stops of dynamic range with two dual-native-ISO models - the base 320/1,600 ISO and the range expansion 800/4,000 ISO. The sensor sits behind a customizable lens mount - you can choose between DJI's own DL Mount or go with Panasonic's L Mount, Leica's M mount, Sony's E mount or PL mount. There are also 9 built-in ND filters - 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, and 512.
The 8K sensor can record in 4K up to 120fps at 17:9, and up to 8K at 75fps in its internal RAW format. The system has D-Log but supports Apple ProRes RAW, ProRes 422 Hq, H.264, and Cinema DNG.
The Ronin 4D-8K combo includes the Ronin 4D body, a Zenmuse X9-8K gimbal camera, a DJI DL PZ 17-28 mm T3.0 ASPH lens, a 1TB SSD, and a USB-C cable for â¬12,758.
