Color OS 12 private beta launches in India for Oppo F19 Pro, F17 Pro, Reno5 F and Reno4 F

Oppo has opened private beta sign-ups for select smartphone models. As per Oppo Community Forum posts, Color OS 12 is arriving to the Oppo F19 Pro, F17 Pro, Reno5 F, and Reno4 F via a closed beta program that’s invite only. The program is only limited to users in India, though it’s expected to arrive to other regions soon.

To sign up for the beta program, users with these devices can head to Settings -> Software Update -> gear icon. From there, you can select “Apply for Beta Version” and follow the prompts to apply, directly from the smartphone. If approved, you’ll receive a notification with the OTA to download and install the beta build. Oppo will approve 2500 testers for each model mentioned above.

Last month, Oppo shared its Color OS 12 beta roll-out schedule and next month, the Reno5 Lite, Reno4 Pro 5G, Reno4 Z 5G, Reno4 Lite, A94, A93, and A53s 5G will begin testing on the beta program. Check out the full schedule to see when Oppo device in other markets will receive the beta.
