Asus ROG Phone 9 FE's specs and images surface

Asus unveiled the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro last November, and we recently learned that the Taiwanese brand is planning to launch an FE model, which has been certified in multiple countries. While Asus is yet to divulge anything about the ROG Phone 9 FE, its images and specs have surfaced online, leaving little to the imagination.

The Asus ROG Phone 9 FE looks similar to the ROG Phone 9 Pro, and the source says it will be available in Phantom Black color at least. It will be 8.9 mm thick, weigh 225 g, and come with AirTrigger controls.

The ROG Phone 9 FE will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, boot Android 15, and have 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage onboard. It will pack a 6.78" FullHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, reaching 185Hz in Game Genie. The panel will have 2,500 nits peak brightness (1,600 nits in HBM) and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

The camera department includes four snappers - 50MP primary (Sony IMX890 with OIS), 13MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and 32MP selfie. Fueling the entire package will be a 5,500 mAh battery with 65W wired charging. The smartphone will also have wireless charging support.

Other highlights include stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Hi-Res Audio, Wi-Fi 7, and an in-display fingerprint reader. The smartphone will also be IP68-rated.
