ASUS ROG Ally X launched in India

ASUS has launched the ROG Ally X in India. This launch comes roughly two months after its international announcement back in June during Computex 2024.

The ROG Ally X is an upgraded version of the 2023 ROG Ally, which is a handheld Windows-based gaming PC. The Ally X maintains the same Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip and even the same display as the Ally, so it's not quite a second generation model, but it does bring with it a host of other changes.

The biggest change is the new 80Wh battery, which has double the capacity of the original model. The Ally X also features double the storage at 1TB. You also get 50% more system memory at 24GB and at 7500MHz it's also faster. The updated cooling solution is now more efficient and quieter. ASUS has also redesigned the controls to work better and the body now has better grips. You also get two USB-C ports.

The ROG Ally X is priced at INR 89,990 in India, which is a steep increase over the original model's INR 69,990 price tag. Moreover, the original model can now be purchased for INR 49,990, making the new one seem even more expensive. The Ally X will be available at ASUS ROG Store, Eshop, Flipkart, and Amazon. You can have it in any color you want as long as it's black.
