Apple Intelligence will get support for these languages in April

Apple introduced Apple Intelligence last September with the iPhone 16 series, which was released later in October. It's not available in all countries and supports only the English language in most regions around the world. However, Apple Intelligence will get support for over half a dozen languages in April.

This announcement came from Apple CEO Tim Cook during the company's Q4 2024 earnings call. Cook said, "In April, we're bringing Apple Intelligence to more languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese, as well as localized English to Singapore and India."

While Cook mentioned eight languages during the call, Apple's support page for Apple Intelligence also includes Vietnamese. The support for these languages will be delivered in April through a software update.

Apple Intelligence is currently available in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa for Apple devices running iOS 18.2 or later, iPadOS 18.2 or later, and macOS Sequoia 15.2 or later.
