Amazon UK's Prime deals roll on, offer discounts on Honor 70, Magic4 Pro and Magic4 Lite 4G
Amazon UKâs ongoing Prime Early Access Deals event is a good time for Brits to pick up a new phone. Honor is riding the wave of discounts with three models: a camera-obsessed flagship, an award-winning mid-ranger and a plucky entry-level phone.
The Honor Magic4 Pro is down to £808 (8/256GB), £142 off its MSRP. This is for the black colorway, the cyan one is £850.
The Magic4 Pro packs two 50MP cameras (main and ultra wide) plus a 64MP telephoto cam (90mm/3.5x periscope), not to mention 3D ToF sensors on the front and back. It also has a large 6.81â 120Hz AMOLED display (LTPO) and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 running the show. Charging the 4,600mAh battery is fast whether you go the wired or wireless route â both are rated at 100W. For more details check out our written and video reviews.
The Honor 70 raked in 21 awards from IFA earlier this year and launched at £480 this September. The price is now down to £409 for an 8/128GB unit in Crystal Silver or Emerald Green (Midnight Black is £430).
This one is a tad smaller with a 6.67â 120Hz AMOLED display and packs a 54MP main plus 50MP ultra wide cameras (no telephoto though). The Snapdragon 778G+ felt a bit underwhelming at the original price point, but that is nothing a good discount canât fix. Check out our review for a more detailed look at what the Honor 70 has going for it (and the areas where it is lacking). We have a video review as well.
Finally, an option for a smaller budget â the Honor Magic4 Lite 4G, aka the Honor X9. This one also packs a large 6.81â display, a 90Hz LCD in this case, and a fairly large 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
You can pick one of these up for £210, £40 off its MSRP. There is also a similar 5G model (powered by the Snapdragon 695 instead of the 680) for £280, though that one is not part of the Prime deals.
