2019 iPhones certified by EEC, 11 model codes confirmed
Apple is gearing up to announce iOS 13 at its WWDC 2019 event and in the meantime, 11 new Apple iPhones appeared in the database of the Eurasian Economic Community (EEC).
The phones are undoubtedly the 2019 lineup of the company, coming to succeed the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR. And no, there won't 11 new phones from Apple - it's just that the company uses different model numbers for the different versions of the same phone.
The 2019 iPhones are expected to feature minor design changes with triple camera sensors on the back of the flagships and a dual offering on the XR successor. The listing shows all handsets are running on iOS 12, which is hardly a surprise.
Weve already seen plenty of renders for the upcoming iPhones with the most recent ones for the XR painting a pretty clear, if not necessarily pretty picture. Other additions include new modified-PI antenna structure for better indoor reception and reverse wireless charging. The new iPhones are expected to come this September.
