Google Pixel 6a’s full set of renders leak
Over the weekend, we saw a full unboxing and hands-on video of the unreleased Google Pixel 6a including a side-by-side comparison with the Pixel 6 Pro. Now, prolific leaker @EvLeaks has posted perhaps the full set of press renders of the Google Pixel 6a to Twitter. It’s worth noting that these renders don’t exactly show anything new, but the leaker did reveal a useful spec sheet – so let’s start with that.

We know almost everything there is to know about the Google Pixel 6a at this point. The lower-cost Pixel offering powered by Google Tensor will be available for pre-order starting July 21 for $449 in the US. It will be available in three colors: white, black, and green (or sage). The Pixel 6a features a 6.1-inch OLED screen with HDR support and in-display scanner.
The Pixel 6a will use an in-display fingerprint scanner and we hope that that Google has made improvements to its hardware. Users complained about the optical scanners on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro as being slower and less reliable than competing in-display scanners.
The phone’s listed to have a 4,306 mAh battery, 6GB of DDR5 RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and support for 4K video recording at up to 60fps. Like other Pixels, Google is expected to provide up to 5 years of security updates to the new smartphone.
