2022-01-04

Garmin unveiled its latest wearables at CES 2022 - the $450 Venu 2 Plus and the $180 vivomove Sport.

The Garmin Venu 2 Plus is a full-on smartwatch with a 1.3-inch 416x416px AMOLED display with an always-on mode.

The Venu 2 Plus has a single 43mm size and sits between the 40mm Venu 2S and 45mm Venu 2, which came out in April. The Plus adds a speaker and a microphone, which allows for calls on the smartwatch.

The microphone works through Bluetooth to support any smart assistant you have on your phone, which is quite innovative.

There are three battery endurance modes - 9 days in smartwatch mode, GPS mode cuts that down to 24 hours, while the GPS mode with music gives you just 8 hours.

The Venu 2 Plus is already on sale over at Garmin"s website, priced $450.

The vivomove Sport adds to the vivomove collection of hybrid watches, which includes the 3, 3S, and Style.

The vivomove Sport is an analog design with a small touchscreen display in the bottom half of the screen, which can hide away. It offers information about heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep tracking, and exercise tracking.

Garmin"s Body Battery feature tracks your body for heart rate irregularities as well as its ability to recover. There"s women"s health tracking as well.
