British Samsung Galaxy S10 prices leak, Lite will be cheaper than the Galaxy S9

2021-10-13

We’ve been hearing a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S10 lately, but one key detail has been elusive so far – the price. Insider info coming out of the UK makes it sound more than reasonable.

In fact, the introductory S10 will be a good £70 cheaper than last year’s Galaxy S9, which launched at £740. However, the fully loaded S10 will cost more twice as much as the base model.

Here’s a handy table with the reported prices (not confirmed by Samsung, of course). We’ve also converted them to euro. Different taxes and warranty rules mean that a straight conversion to US dollars will not be terribly accurate (but 1:1 with euros is usually a good guess).

Note that the 1TB version may actually prove to be the 5G model – the one with a 6.7” screen and six cameras (4 back, 2 front). This one will arrive after the Unpacked event on February 20 (in Q2 or later).

Another interesting tidbit from this report is Powershare, which will allow the Galaxy S10 to wirelessly charge other devices (just like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro).
