Specs for HTC Runnymede and Bliss leak, a new press shot too

2021-05-06

It"s been just a day since we met the first leaked HTC Runnymede press shots and today we get a better press photo plus the full official specifications. We already knew most of the specs, but it"s still a good thing to have them confirmed.

HTC Runnymede

HTC Runnymede packs a 4.7-inch S-LCD WVGA touchscreen and is based on the Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset with a 1.5GHz single-core Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 graphics and 768MB RAM. There is also 16GB or 32GB internal storage.

HTC Runnymede

The Runnymede features an 8 megapixel snapper (F2.2, 28mm lens), 720p video recording capabilities, dual-LED flash and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. The battery cover is made entirely of aluminum and the whole handset has just 9.9mm of thickness.

Its connectivity package is as impressive as it gets - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS with A-GPS, tri-band HSPA (14.4Mbps HSDPA, 5.76Mbps HSUPA), FM radio and quad-band GSM support. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack and a secondary microphone for noise-cancellation.

HTC Runnymede is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with the latest version of HTC Sense UI on top of it. It is also part of the Beats Audio lineup. The new tech is supposed to boost your audio experience and Beats Audio handsets will come with better headphones than the rest of the Android gang.

As we already mentioned in the previous news, the Runnymede is rumored to cost £530 for the 16GB version and £30 more for the 32GB one.

HTC Bliss

The ladies-targeting HTC Bliss has also leaked within those documents with full specifications. It is based on the same Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset but the single core Scorpion processor has a lower 1GHz clock speed. The rest is the same - 768MB RAM and Adreno 205 graphics. The Bliss will also come with a smaller 3.7-inch S-LCD WVGA display and 4GB internal memory.

HTC Bliss features a 5 megapixel camera with 720p camcorder, a single LED flash and a VGA front-facing snapper.

HTC Bliss specs

Its connectivity package is basically the same as the Runnymede - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS with A-GPS, tri-band HSPA (14.4Mbps HSDPA, 5.76Mbps HSUPA), FM radio and quad-band GSM support.

HTC Bliss is also part of the Gingerbread breed and is granted with the latest Sense UI 3.5. It comes with a pre-bundled 8GB microSD card, a Charm indicator and a pouch. The light-up charm accessory is finally confirmed, so is the pouch. We guess the ladies should be happy with those.

HTC Bliss should become available sometime later this year with a reportedly, affordable pricetag. Though SIM-free HTC phones rarely do come cheap.
